The Lady Wildcat’s fall in a tight overtime thriller in their second home game of the season 
against the North Harrison Cougars Tuesday evening. The lady wildcats were lead by Claire Knies with 15 points, 3 Assists, and 4 Steals. The Cougars came into the contest with a 5-1 record and ranked 15th in the state, but the Wildcats hung in neck and neck throughout the entire game. The Lady Wildcats unfortunately lost during overtime with a score of 62-64 and drop to 1-4 on the season. Although the Lady Wildcats may have lost the game, they felt like it was a good step forward for the rest of the season. “I thought we played hard and need to continue having the same intensity in that game to our [next] game on Saturday.” Emphasized Junior, Claire Knies. The Wildcats will use this tough loss as a good learning opportunity. “We took steps forward. We offensively were more effective and we stuck to the game plan that we talked about the last few days. We just fell a little short at the end, ” stated Assistant coach, Eric Dall. The Lady Cats are back on the road Saturday (12/1) against Evansville Central at 2:30.
