Breaking bread and sharing a meal. Yesterday members of Jasper High School staff and students gathered as a part of Cats of the Round Table to have a meal together, made by Mrs. Beier’s culinary classes. It was a time for them to sit down and talk to students and staff they may not usually talk to. Cats of the Round Table is a time for sharing a meal, sharin
g stories, and starting conversations. Junior, David Uebelhor quotes “I thought it was cool because we got to talk to people we’ve never talked to before.” They enjoyed german food and talking about what the students are planning on in the future, as the staff members put in encouraging words. Teacher, Mr. Routson remarked, “It is a neat idea were the student and teachers get to sit down in a setting not a classroom setting where they can interact socially and get to know people on a different level then getting to know them just in the classroom.” Students and staff are randomly picked to attend this neat experience the school offers, will you be the next?
