A path to the future. This past weekend members of our Jasper FFA chapter attended FIRE 2018 camp at the FFA Leadership Center in Trafalgar, IN . Our FFA members had the opportunity to plan out their futures. Getting to talk to students from Purdue University. Talking about their own experience and answering question from the members. Getting to meet, and interact with the Indiana State Officers.

“ I liked the community service project that everyone participated in” states sophomore Ella Goeppner. At the weekend camp all the members go to help make 80 baskets of Thanksgiving meals to give to families in need in there own home town. The members get placed in small groups with other students around the state. “My counselor made it honestly really fun” states Cody Scherle Junior. The members get to make new friends and become closer to their counselors. Getting to know the other students around you will know them for the rest of your life. See them again at National Convention and in your future at college. FFA camps are another way to teach the members new things and make new friends from everywhere.
