The Ping Pong Club is a fairly new club at Jasper High School. This group of paddles and fun is run by Mrs. Spellmeyer. The club’s President is Jacob Berry, and their Vice President is Jessica Hurst. They have tournaments whenever the President and the Vice President decides. They only have about 50 members signed up. But they are still on the search for more! The club’s meets are usually before basketball games, or on Wednesday’s in homeroom or before school. These meets consists of planning and showing the rest of the club members when tournaments are. The club has its own designed shirts that has the phrase “you just got served” with a picture of a ping pong paddle and ball.

Jessica Hurst is the Vice President of the club, with the duties of fundraising, coordinating time for their tourneys and trying to get more members. “People should join next year, it’s a ton of fun,” said Hurst, “ping pong is interesting with lots of surprising turnouts.” If you like playing ping pong and having fun, then this club is for you. They have plenty of opportunities to join, and if you have any questions, see Mrs. Spellmeyer.
